Maurice Hodos is the Fund Administrator of the UFCW National
Health and Welfare Fund with offices in Englewood, NJ and
Stockton, CA. The Fund provides benefits for over 8500 members
and their families in several states. His overall
responsibilities encompass the daily administration of the
self-insured, self-administered multi-employer Fund as well as
providing third party administrative services for UFCW Locals
throughout the country. He holds a B.A. degree from the
University of Miami, a D.C. degree from the Columbia Institute
of Chiropractic and has received the Certified Employee Benefit
Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation
of Employee Benefit Plans. A frequent panelist, moderator and
speaker at educational conferences, the scope of his almost 30
years of experience includes being a provider of primary health
care services, a third party administrator, a director of Fund
sponsored medical and dental centers, as a claims consultant and
as an administrator of health and pension funds.
