Richard Thomason
| Richard Thomason is the Policy
Director for SEIU - United Healthcare Workers West, which has
140,000 health care worker members in hospitals, clinics,
nursing homes and home care programs in California. Prior to
joining UHW, Richard was a Principal Consultant for health
policy for Assembly Majority Leader Dario Frommer and for the
Assembly Health Committee. Richard has also worked as a
Community and Government Relations Representative for Kaiser
Permanente, as a Consultant for the Assembly Insurance Committee
and the Assembly Health Committee under Assembly Member Burt
Margolin, as a Fiscal and Policy Analyst for the California
Legislative Analyst’s Office, and as staff to U.S. Senator Bill
Bradley. He has served as a member of the Berkeley Community
Health Commission and the Alameda County Public Health Advisory
Commission. |
