Finding the balance between competing stakeholder interests is the greatest challenge for any
policymaker. In the healthcare dialogue, the interests of the consumers and purchasers have been
overlooked for too long.
And yet, now that organizations like CHCC can give even the smallest purchasing organization a
BIG voice, we have a choice as to how we use our collective voice most effectively.
CHCC on behalf of its Members and for the benefit of the public generally has chosen to speak through collaborative partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, including doctors and hospitals, health plans, and obviously other purchasers and consumers of healthcare coverage.
These partnerships are paying dividends for everyone through better quality care at better prices and the
ability of our Members’ employees and families to make better- informed healthcare choices.
